Venmo Unleashes Bitcoin Freedom: Send, Receive & Take Control of Your Bitcoin in a Snap!
So Venmo, PayPal's little sidekick, is finally getting on board with the times, huh? Starting May 2023, they will let you transfer your precious Bitcoin to other Venmo users, PayPal accounts, and even those fancy external wallets and exchanges. And why? Because they're finally waking up to the fact that people want more options to manage their Bitcoin.
Now, they're making this whole transfer thing super easy—just a few taps in the app, and you're good to go. You can send your Bitcoin to another Venmo user or enter a wallet address to ship it off to PayPal or some other wallet. And if you're on the receiving end, just show your unique QR code and let the Bitcoin roll in.
But hold up! You can't cancel or reverse these transfers, and that's a tough pill to swallow for Bitcoin newbies. On the bright side, it does mean no more pesky chargebacks and fiat-related headaches. Venmo's rolling this out in May 2023, and they've got big plans for more crypto features on the horizon. It's about time they realised that giving users control of their Bitcoin is what it's all about—no more third-party disasters, just pure Bitcoin freedom.
